Is anyone missing this beautiful Akita boy. I have taken him to be scanned with an UNIVERSAL scanner from head to toe and he has no microchip. Found in the Winchester Ridge Community off Normandy in the Maxville area. I have dropped him off with the Akita Rescue Society of Florida. He needs to be the only dog in the home and I have four of my own. This is very common with this breed. They super loyal to their people and don’t like to share them with other dogs. Below is the contact information for the Rescue. You can claim him there if he belongs to you, they will ask you specific identification questions to make sure you’re the owner. He has also been cross posted on Facebook Lost and Found pets of Jacksonville as well as through a link on the Animal Care and Protective services website for the city and we have submitted his picture and info to Jacksonville Humane Society. We have also added his info on PetCo.org for lost and found pets as recommended by both shelters links can be found on the Animal Care and Protective website as well as the Jacksonville Humane Society website.
