Friday June 24th, 2022 7:00-8:00PM (Doors open at 6:30PM) Grace Dodge Chapel on the Asilomar Conference Grounds Native songbirds are finding it increasingly difficult to raise a family in today's environment. Thanks to Asilomar's Nest Box Program, they have a chance to breed in 32 nest boxes all around the park. This 30 minute film follow Amanda Preece (Nest Box Program Coordinator and Monterey Audubon Environmental Advocate) as she monitors the boxes over a course of one season from nest building and egg laying to hatching and first flight. Join us for a free screening of "A Peek into Asilomar's Nest Box Program," followed by refreshments and a 30 minute Q&A with filmmakers, Steve & Mary Albert, and nest box coordinator, Amanda Preece. ***Parking is available in marked parking spaces on the Asilomar Conference Grounds.
