Description

This class will teach you how to sew a summer top using Simplicity 9133. You will learn how to read a commercial patter, cut your fabric and sew your top from start to finish. You will also learn about making and cutting darts, inserting sleeves and hemming your top. This is a great class to advance your sewing skills and take home a cute quick sewing project. You should be able to sew a straight stitich and thread a sewing machine. Prerequisite: Sewing 101 or some sewing experience. Supplies: Sewing machine and sewing tools are provided. However, you are welcome to bring your own sewing machine. You will need 1 and 1/2 yard of a silky type, challis, lightweight linen, crepe, lightweight cotton or poplin fabric.
