Celebrating 10 years of existence, S.P.O.R.E. (aka Spontaneous Progression Of Recurring Energy) is a powerful troupe within the Florida jam band scene, with membership spanning from Jacksonville to Tampa Bay. Founded in 2012 by Alex Sears, Joe Knoebel, Steve Honig, & Chris Richard, S.P.O.R.E. has grown in recent years to include Jason Hunnicutt, Michael Lyn Bryant, & Matt Weis. This 7-headed giant wastes no time bringing energy to the stage, and does not relent until the show ends. Monster bass lines underline a vast soundscape of exploratory synthesis & propulsive drums, laced with guitar leads that are just as technically thoughtful as they are emotionally heartfelt. Absorbing everything in it's path, expect a sound inspired by everything from dance-forward electronica and smoking reggae to hard edged post-rock & progressive blues.
