Wanted: Synth, bass, vocals for Industrial / Dance Metal

Meets

Sunnyvale CA

Description

Seeking synth, bass, and vocalist for the founding of a serious, stage-show-forward industrial/dance metal cover band. About the band: Mix of intense danceable industrial (Rammstein, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson), similar ballpark (Orgy's Blue Monday cover), and hard-edged metal covers of 80s dance hits (e.g. the Avantasia cover of Maniac, Edguy cover of Amadeus). Six piece (vox, two guitars, bass, keys, drums). Full stage show - dress up, light choreography, light show synchronized to Ableton click track with the band on IEMs. I have all the gear needed. Goal is to make it a full-on live production unlike anything else touring the local scene, and get crowds moving on the floor. About me: Veteran guitar player (most recently with 80s hair metal cover band Power Chord for five years) and active sound/lighting engineer. Excited to put it all together for a production of my own. 35, sane, day job at Google, but excited to put time in to get this right. Focused but easy to work with. The sort of guy who reads the manual on all the gear before he even buys it and wants to understand how every moving piece fits together to make it perfect. Targeting a round of auditions/meet and greet the afternoon of June 25, but could be flexible. Let me know if this sounds interesting - I'd love to work with you. If you play guitar or drums and this sounds interesting, feel free to shoot a note as well; I have candidates lined up but more potential players would be welcome.
