She started at age 12 teaching a Sunday school class for 5 years old. Joy and David Maas and their four children; who are their ministry team, have traveled in the states as well as though out Asia and Israel teaching children, children’s leaders and parents the value God has put on raising our children to love Him with all their heart, mind, soul and strength. Their family’s heart is to release children in enjoyable prayer and worship. They use the arts as a tool to release the heart of prayer and the prophetic. As they train these young ones to sing, dance, speak, and draw prophetically they have seen the Lord unlock heart and break down wall and barriers of religion.  Joy is the prophetic dance director for children and teens at the international house of Prayer in Kansas City. She and her children have also worked with the children’s equipping Center in Kansas City for the last 16 years. As a family, they were on the mission field in Taiwan then to India where they were worked with street children at an orphanage in Chennai India. While there the Lord called David home in 2008. Joy returned to IHOP with her four children she is continuing to minister with children and young mom’s. She cares a heart for missions and children. They have traveled to Korea, China, Israel, Bahamas, and Canada as well throughout the US as a family. They are asking God to release the spirit of adoption and the Father’s heart over the fatherless. Her desire is to see families in the body of Christ walking out the fullness of Christ so they can be a witness to a dark and fallen generation. A light that reflexes a Christ-centered home and lifestyle. Her heart is Isaiah 1:17 and Luke 1:17. For the children to know the heart of the Father and be known by the Father in the hour we are living.
