Lancaster Bail Fund is hosting a 3-mile walk featuring landmarks of incarceration in Lancaster County, educational displays and real stories from those impacted by bail. Join us on July 9th for look inside our cash-bail system and the role is plays in the lives of our neighbors.
The event starts at Pavilion 2 in Lancaster County Park and ends at the Reservoir Park Pavilion. Participants will receive an event t-shirt and light refreshments after the walk.
Hang around after the walk for a celebration of freedom at 11 am in Reservoir Park. Lunch will be available for purchase from local vendors. Attendees can also enjoy live music while you mingle with neighbors.
Parking is available at the Communication Action Partnership (CAP) parking lot at 601 S Queen St, Lancaster, PA 17603, just a short walk from the start of the event. Limited parking is also available at the Lancaster County Park for limited-mobility attendees. A limited capacity shuttle service will be offered from Reservoir Park to the CAP parking lot/Lancaster County Park.
10 am: Walk begins from Lancaster County Park, Pavilion 2
11 am: Attendees arrive at Reservoir Park
11 am: Celebration of Freedom begins at Reservior Park
