Here are the top stories today in Denver: Annie's Cafe is closing after 41 years in business. The longtime favorite restaurant on Colfax is closing its doors in a few weeks. It's another success story that had its time, but will leave a gap for all those that have stuffed their faces with Annie's food over the years. (KDVR) Vigil held Englewood barber killed in hit and run. Last Saturday, John Lucero Jr. was crossing Broadway when he was stuck by a vehicle around 8 a.m. His family has organized a vigil in his honor that will be held on Sunday, June 12 at the crash site. (FOX31) Gov. Polis vetoes bill that would have required EV charging stations. The governor has vetoed legislation that was championed by environmental groups, and would have required all new large apartment and commercial buildings be equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles. (Patch) Finalist for Denver Health CEO position selected. On Thursday, Denver Health announced that Donna Lynne, former lieutenant governor, is their selection for health system's new CEO position.
