Do you know a baton twirler? I know a few…. As a former competitor I have coached hundreds of baton twirlers. My team is The Elite Twirlers. I started the team in 2002 when I left Corporate America and became a Baton Coach. Twenty years later I coach several Competitive Twirlers including my eight year old daughter Victoria. This year my girls have accomplished a lot. Victoria won the Novice Basic Skills Pageant and Novice Regional Twirl in the Age 7-9 Division. Paris Jayne Webb won Intermediate All West Regional Pageant, State and AWR Intermediate 2-Baton, State 3-baton Champion and AWR Intermediate Twirl Champion. Paris led the Pasadena City College Honor Band in the 2022 Rose Parade and will be twirling for the University of Arizona Wildcats this Fall. Her major is Nutritional Science. Julie Critchfield attends Cal Poly Pomona and twirls for the Pep Band. She is the Senior Beginner Harvest Queen and Miss Summertime. Julie went to Twirl Mania and places in the top ten in the Beginner Senior Twirl and performed in the Honors Parade at Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom. She is majoring in Civil Engineering and her minor is Mathematics. Baton twirling teaches sportsmanship, humility, hard work, dedication and my twirlers pay tribute to these ideals.
