About Banks & Company Banks & Company LLC is a boutique event management company, servicing clients worldwide. We are seeking an Event Assistant to support the onsite Event Manager during a client reception. Work Hours/Pay Rate • Date: Tuesday, June 14th • Location: Near San Diego Convention Center (exact location will be given if hired) • Time: 4pm – 9pm PST (5 hours) • Pay Rate: $25/hour x 5 hours = $125 Cash Responsibilities • Assist in setup and breakdown of events. • Assist with guest registration. • Demonstrate excellent customer service standards. • Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address guests’ needs. • Speak with client, guests and staff using clear and professional language. • Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. • Verify uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional at all times. Attire • All black business attire required. • Black blazer required w/ black pants, skirt or dress (white under shirt ok under blazer) Qualifications • 0-3 years of work experience in events or other relevant area • Event Management, Marketing, Communications and/or PR experience a plus • An interest in event management is preferred, although prior experience is not required • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work well in independent work environments • Professional, Energetic and committed to deliver high quality results Interested candidates should submit a headshot and resume.
