Re-Homing Eleanor

We’re a military family that just moved here, and are unfortunately looking to re-home our dog Eleanor. Eleanor (we call her Smelly or Smelly bear) is a 7 year old German Shepherd we bought while we lived overseas. We bought her from a family that had a litter of purebred German Shepherds. Eleanor has moved from overseas, to New Mexico, and now back to our home state of California. Eleanor grew up around a cat, other dogs in varying ages, and babies/kids. She’s always been playful and sweet, but as she’s gotten older, she’s been enjoying her solitude more. Eleanor could be re-homed to a house with other pets, but it would take time, so preferably if she could be the only pet that would be best. Eleanor LOVES to play, hike, run, and go for walks. She has the biggest heart and has plenty of love to give. She is completely house trained, current on vaccines, and spayed. We unfortunately are looking into rehoming her because since she has aged, she prefers to be left unbothered by the kids of our growing family. She has never been aggressive to our kids, we just know she could be so much happier in a home that could give her the space and attention that she craves. We also have been having a hard time finding a home that allows the amount of pets we have since moving here, so we sadly need to find her a new home. Lastly, our poor girl has been having difficulty adjusting to the constant moves while being in the military, and know she would be so much happier with a more stable home. We’re willing to re-home her to the right family for a small re-homing fee that could be discussed when we meet.
