Description
Hi There! We are putting feelers out there in hopes of finding a great home for our female 2 y/o (what we would guess) husky/ Australian shepherd mix. We obtained her from a rescue and have permission from that rescue to try to rehome her ourselves bc the rescue is unfortunately full. The good? She is wonderful and loving with young children, family members and strangers. Does not bark but makes an occasional happy awooo. She’s confident and loving to all humans. The bad? It may benefit her to be the only dog because she sometimes has food issues towards other dogs which I think can be common with rescue animals. We have 3 other dogs in the household. She will not release a high value item easily if she has it in her mouth. A good “leave it” command would help. Not a huge deal if she’s a solo dog but this behavior has made pack life very challenging. Again, this is a loving family pup and is a difficult decision for us so we are hoping to find the perfect family for her. She’s up to date on vaccines and care. Not good with cats, she likes to chase them. Will come with remaining heartguard prescription and vet records.
