Love City Music Collective - Open call / Guitar player that can do it all, electric & acoustic. M/F, ideal player for us is: * experienced with show bands, pro/semi pro level player * classic tone but like to play with sounds / vibe right for the song. * have a creative open mind and not married to "the wax" (we're open to playing with arrangements / new take) * want to be a member / catalyst in a creative group of great players with consistent work ethic, great marketing & booking / show creation capabilities. * Have other fun skills in your trick bag? Bring it in! Age not important - we're Gen X, generally - but must have presence, confident mastery of your instrument and understand that on stage - it's not about you, it's about the show, the band, delivery of the music and connecting to the audience. New show "Playlist" will be a curated tribute mix of funk / soul / groove-oriented alt rock covers around, intended to bring a mood, a feel and an energy of its own, presented in a modern cabaret style. Female lead vocal, drums, bass, woodwinds/organ, piano all with backing vocals - with possible adds of additional percussion, organ, horns, background vocalists - all on deck.
