We're currently hiring for a Machine Operator! Our client, a North American leader in steel products, is hiring Operating Technicians / Machine Operator! No experience is necessary! An Operating Technician is key to managing the automated mill line of a steel fabrication line. REQUIREMENTS: New hires will be placed in straight day or straight night shifts (need flexibility for either). Hours worked will be between 48 – 60 hours per week depending on business needs (M-Sat). Lift 50+ lbs High attention to detail Handle working in an environment where heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise are common Work well with a team and bring a positive attitude WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Operating oversized machines in a pulpit on the automated mill line Operate a large computer panel, pushbuttons, operate knobs to ensure the machine is operating to standard, reviewing tolerances, and refilling paint Performing quality checks of machine Lifting up to 50 lbs Preventative maintenance and daily inspections on equipment ABOUT THE OPERATING TECH OPPORTUNITY: Benefits starting on day 1, including family medical, dental, vision, and a 401K with a 5% matching program!
