Part time (potentially full time) private chef needed for high end dinner parties. Must have high end dining experience French, Mediterranean California Cuisine. Must be able to work Friday and Saturday nights. Tired of restaurant work, come chat with us! We are a private chef and catering team looking for a reliable, talented and seasoned chef who can help with performing private chef dinner parties 6 - 10 guest) and occasional catering events up to 100 guests. We offer high end, French/California, scratch, haute cuisine for vacation rentals and small wedding/winery parties. We travel within Sonoma, Napa, Marin and San Francisco, Mostly in Napa/Sonoma. Great opportunity to expand your culinary talents from the restaurant to a single table per night and showcase your talent! We have a prep team that gets our party Chefs ready for their events. (Drive time to events and dinner parties are paid). -Well groomed -Food handlers certificate. -Passion for great hospitality and service. -Own your equipment: Pots, pans and knives. (We do loan these too) -Professional and friendly demeanor. -Our team entertains: Chef must have the ability to chat with guests and give cooking tips while preparing in the client's kitchen with a smile. -Be quick, clean, and safe. -Work as a team with servers. -Willing to travel up to 1 hour + or more to a dinner party on occasion (Paid drive time). -Kind spirited -Drug and Alcohol free -Be an excellent cook and passionate about cuisine. -10 years experience in high-end dining. -Catering experience is a plus. -Culinary degree is a bonus. -Follow through with commitments. -Proficient in word, google docs and calendars -Great communicator -We love to cook and please our clients, looking forward to meeting you!
