Omni Properties is looking for a few good carpenters. We work on remodels and rehab single family homes all over Kansas City and Leavenworth. See below for requirements. 1. Must have reliable transportation. Your daughter or son dropping you off is not reliable. 2. Must have basic tools. We run Ryobi everything. If you are a tool elitist, bring your elite tools for yourself. 3. Must be a self-starter. We do not micromanage. A task is given and it's up to you to complete it, if you need help don't be afraid to ask! 4. Must be okay with working some weekends if needed. None of us like to work weekends but sometimes we have to. 5. Must be okay with doing some laboring jobs, we all labor here. Such as unloading materials. The more of us unloading the faster is goes. You will also have to use a paint sprayer sometimes. 6. Must be easy going and laid back. We are not uptight here and like a relaxed working environment. 7. Must understand workplace safety. OSHA 10 is great. If you do not have it, you will be required to get it. 8. Must be able to do good tile work, frame windows, hang doors, lay flooring, minor plumbing and minor wiring. 9. Must be able to understand that payday is every other Friday at the end of the day. You cannot ask to be paid early. 10. Must understand that this is a contract offer. You have to pay your own taxes. You will get a 1099. 11. Must take pride in your work. We all like to brag. Show us your A game. 12. Must be okay with running to Home Depot or Menards for materials if needed. We all make runs. 13. Work starts at 8am or 9am. Just show up before 9am, unless Don says otherwise. Don has a big cobra tattoo on his back and is a cool dude. 14. Must be a cool dude. Required. We give bonus if the crew can get a project done on time. Generally, 1k. Which is why we work weekends sometimes. We take January or February off. You will get $500. Text the number.
