Does your child have SLOPPY WRITING? We are offering a handwriting CAMP of between 6-8 kids, ages 5-9. We will provide a fun approach to writing. Our skilled OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY Practitioners have 13 years experience, are HWT’s certified and will be using the Handwriting Without Tears (HWT) Program, which uses a multi-sensory approach. Activities include: trunk strengthening, fine motor skills, pencil grasp, letter formation, letter identification & use of handwriting paper. We have 2 CAMPS available! • Camp dates: June 14-16 & July 19-20 (total of 6 instruction hours each CAMP) • Location: Wahiawa Public Library COST $199 IS YOUR CHILD READY FOR KINDERGARTEN? We are offering a classroom readiness group of between 6-8 kids, ages 3-5. We will provide a fun approach to building foundational skills needed for classroom success. Writing is much more than fine motor skills. It is actually a complex skill that is most successfully achieved with the development of underlying gross motor, fine motor, and perceptual motor skills. This class uses the Handwriting Without Tears program along with a fun multi-sensory approach to develop these body, hand, and perceptual skills as a foundation for writing. Activities include: finger and trunk strengthening, efficient pencil grasp, scissors use, pre-writing stroke development, shape formation, uppercase letter formation, name writing and movement activities to foster body awareness. We have 1 CAMP available, June 14-16 (total of 6 instruction hours) • Location: Wahiawa Public Library COST $199 DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR JUNE 14TH CAMP IS MONDAY JUNE 13TH.
