One person in human history has influenced the world more than all the others put together. Even those who don't trust him or even believe he existed neverthless still have their world shaped by this one person: Jesus of Nazareth.
The question, however, of "Who was he?" still remains. Thankfully we are not left without a witness. In fact, we have been left with four independent witnesses to the life of Jesus. These four independet witnesses have told the story of Jesus's life in particular ways to highlight different parts of his life and how those different parts of his life moved forward the story of Israel's God.
Over three hour and half sessions (9/30 from 6:30pm-8pm; 10/1 from 9am-10:30am, and 11am-12:30pm) we will look together at the life of Jesus through following the stories told in the gospels.
As we discover and examine Jesus's life we’ll follow the stories told by the four gospel writers as they tell the story of Jesus, beginning with his birth (even the time before his birth as John tells it), his call to and the events of his public ministry, his confrontation with the religious leaders and with Rome, and his eventual death and resurrection from the dead.
