Friday, June 17th at Nō Studios Doors at 7p | Music at 8p Free parking available in the surface lot next to our building. TRPBig P & Lik are two MC’s from the north side of Milwaukee, WI. Growing up, they lived around the corner from each other and shared the same passion for sports, music and fashion. After high school they both played college basketball but their plans to gopro didn’t come to fruition so they both decided to pursue a career in music. The musical kinship they formed prompted them to create a collective called TRP (The Roses Prevail) thats comprised of several local artist and creatives all striving to achieve the same goals. Through the lens of TRP, P and Lik aim to create the warmth and nostalgia of their childhood, as well as innovate and cultivate a sustainable future for themselves and their children. Their first attempt at this was on their debut project “Driveway Dreamers” which came out in October of 2021. The project plays out like a love letter to the neighborhood the grew up in, and chronicles all the triumphs and struggles that accompany living in that neighborhood. Big P and Lik both have plans of continuing to improve their creative synergy as a duo, as well as pursue endeavors individually in the future. KayshonBorn & raised in Austin, Texas, Kayshon is a 24 year old R&B/Hip Hop artist that delivers relatable lyrics with catchy hooks to illustrate the ebbs and flows of his past relationships. Kayshon describes his music as a look into his life and uses music to shine a light on the struggles that he has gone through on his journey to becoming the man he would like to be. At an early age, Kayshon grew up singing in his church and was never afraid of the big stage. Kayshon started writing music when he was 15, and recorded his first song during his freshman year of college. After taking a few years off from creating music, Kayshon returned to doing the thing he loved most, and debuted his first EP entitled “Love Cycles” in 2021.
