Hello, I produce a long-running monthly tribute show that has a residency at a popular venue in the East Village and we are looking to add some new players to our ranks. The tribute's theme changes every month, we play everything from Punk to Metal, New Wave to Disco, Classic Rock to Grunge, and beyond, we mainly play music from the 60s-90s. We are looking for players with chops, versatility, and professional experience and attitude. This is a paying gig, we will compensate you (but don't get crazy, we're not loaded) and a great opportunity to make some new friends and work with other talented musicians. We have a real family atmosphere among our performers, and many bands, relationships, and other fringe benefits have been borne out of our efforts. Since the pandemic we have lost some of our go-to players, some moved away, some have moved on to greater heights, and some have stopped participating. So we are reaching out to the online community in hopes of finding some cool new contacts. Age-wise we tend to be Gen-Xers, with Boomers and Millennials mixed in, all races, genders, and sexualities are welcome, we are an inclusive group of eccentric music loving people. Please, no rock star attitudes, and no flakes who cancel gigs at the last minute or show up late to rehearsals. Backup vocal skills are a big plus!
