Interplay: Art + Opera is an interdisciplinary exhibition and performance project. Visual artists from all mediums come together with opera singers to hear and learn about opera, then go away to create new works of art inspired by the music. Months later, those works are curated into a group exhibition and live performances of the same music that inspired the art take place within the gallery walls. Join us on June 12th for the first step in this creative, interdisciplinary process - the Artist Preview Concert! Some of Telluride's best artists, both emerging and established, will be in attendance. The program will include stories and histories of the musical selections, as well as live performances by Denver-based singers Leah Podzimek and Kira Dills-DeSurra, with accompaniment by Jessica Nilles Kressin.
