As the light of the world reaches its apex with the dawning of the Summer Solstice, Beau Bowker offers an opportunity to go deep within to open your heart and free your inner child with the potent healing modalities of cacao and breathwork. The sacred plant ally that is cacao, the purest form of chocolate, carries extraordinary physiological and spiritual benefits that have been used in ceremonies for over 5,000 years. The unique and powerful breathwork being offered is an active meditation that serves, just as cacao does, to open the heart, move energy in the body, and facilitate deep healing. Both cacao and breathwork serve as vasodilators that open up our vascular system, allowing more oxygen, blood, and ENERGY to flow through our bodies. Cacao activates both the “love chemical” (phenylethylamine) and the “bliss chemical” (anandamide) within our bodies, which allow us to go on this inner journey with more love, joy, and grace. Cacao and breathwork each help us to release stress, anxiety, worry, fear, and other limiting beliefs, while also bringing us into the present moment where we experience relief, peace, openness, and clarity. The Inner Child keeps the score. Perhaps she/he is throwing a tantrum, crying to be seen and heard. The cry may be for safety, validation, a sense of worthiness… and it is always, at the root, a cry for more love. Summer is the season when children experience the freedom of longer days and more light. We bring this intention to our own Inner Child, safely and tenderly allowing ourselves to look at what appears to be holding us back and to listen to our Inner Child so that we may experience true inner freedom and the full expression of the light that we are! This safe space will include a cacao ceremony, guided meditation, journaling, communal sharing, and a breathwork journey. We are thrilled to come together in community to support one another as we liberate our hearts, let go of limitations, and shine our individual and collective light.
