Students will learn about the difference between an emergency, a disaster and a hazard as well as what types of emergencies to be prepared for, protective actions to take, family emergency communications plans, disaster supply kits, GO Bags, and what to do during severe weather. Someone from the Sheriff’s Office will talk to the kids about gun safety. A visit from a K9. They will be taken on a tour of the building. And every child will receive an Emergency Go Bag.
