New to Altadena or Northwest Pasadena? Starting or thinking about starting a family here? Come learn about our community’s history and how your school choices affect its future. Integrated School's mission is to mobilize families to practice antiracist school integration. Our Pasadena Chapter brings together people in the communities served by the Pasadena Unified School District (Pasadena, Altadena & Sierra Madre) who want to learn more about how racism has shaped our school district and how the choices we make as parents and caregivers can either perpetuate or interrupt racist and segregationist patterns and trends. While our focus is on helping White parents learn and re-examine the roles we play and how we can make a difference by making different kinds of choices, we welcome all people who want to contribute to redressing the imbalance of power in our systems of public education.
