$1,000 Sign-On Bonus* Construction Renovation Technician - Multifamily Apartments Our Renovation Technician is responsible for most aspects of interior work and any tasks assigned by the Superintendent in vacant and occupied residential apartment units. Education/Certificates: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience: Prior experience with electrical, plumbing, appliance installation, drywall repair and painting. Knowledge and ability to use power and hand tools. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays. Essential Duties: Performs unit interior demolition which includes but is not limited to removing lights, plumbing, and electrical fixtures, appliances, hardware, etc.; drywall and door repair, and other miscellaneous items. Performs unit interior installation which includes but is not limited to lights, plumbing, and electrical fixtures, appliances, hardware, window coverings, etc. Performs unit Interior Punch/Finish which includes but is not limited to make the unit “Rent Ready” for inspection by Superintendent and then by Property Management. Participates in company required training by established deadline. Complies with all Fairfield standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state and federal laws.
