Visit the Women's Trailfest Website for Full Details and Updates! Our 4th Annual Women's Trailfest returns to Clayton, GA! We've got a few changes coming your way this year! The event will be hosted at the gatehouse at Parker Ranch, a fabulous woman-owned business just 1 mile from downtown, Clayton, GA. Our friends at Merrell are making the weekend possible as presenting sponsors of the event! Weekend activities will include group runs and hikes, workshops, discussions, shoe demos, delicious meals, and inspiring women to share it all with! We believe in creating spaces that make our trail running, hiking, and outdoor activities more welcoming and inclusive for all. Read more about our goals for the event here. Friday, September 30th: We will meet at Parker Ranch (1 mile from downtown Clayton) for check in and a happy hour. Shuttle will be provided from downtown Clayton to The Parker Ranch, as parking at the ranch is limited. Dinner on your own. Please take this time to explore the lovely town of Clayton!Saturday, October 1st: We will spend the morning exploring trails just outside of Clayton, GA. Shuttles to the trailhead and breakfast are provided! There will be shoe demos from Merrell and group runs and hikes to explore waterfalls and trails! We head back to Parker Ranch for a delicious lunch followed by an afternoon of workshops! The evening will include dinner and festivities at Parker Ranch.Sunday, October 2nd: We will meet at the overlook at Black Rock Mountain State Park for morning mindfulness, fabulous views, and group runs/hikes. We will wrap up by noon! Accommodations: The event activities will take place near Downtown Clayton and at Black Rock Mountain State Park, so you’ll want to stay within convenient driving distance to those two landmarks. There are limited accomodations at Parker Ranch that are reservable a checkout as "add-ons" when you purchase your ticket. Descriptions of those options are below. However, you do NOT have to stay at Parker Ranch. Please see the lodging page of our website for additional camping and lodging recommendations in the area. Lodging is not included in the base ticket price. Parker Ranch Lodging and Camping Options: Campsites: Campers will have access to running water and restrooms, but there are no showers on site. Tourist Rooms: Rooms have private baths and open onto large covered porches. (Click here for photos. Cabin: 1 bedroom cabin with queen bed, full kitchen, and large deck. Click here for photos.Please visit the our website for additional lodging options outside of Parker Ranch. Carpool: Please check out the Carpool Forum for anyone looking for a ride or would like to offer a ride. You can add yourself as a driver if you have the space and you can add yourself to the ride waitlist to see if there is a spot that comes available. Gas prices are high so lets take advantage of this awesome app! We will be following CDC recommended covid-19 safety protocols.
