NORWICH, CT — One person was killed and another was injured in a car accident in Norwich on Friday, according to WTNH News-8. The wreck occurred in the area of Hunters Road and Mohegan Park Road. Police believe that one car was turning off Mohegan Park Road while another was traveling on Hunters road when the two cars collided, according to WTNH News-8. One driver was transported to Backus Hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead. The other driver was transported to Backus Hospital with minor injuries. Hunters Road was closed for two hours while police investigated.
