Press release from the City of Norwich: June 8, 2022 At the regular meeting of the Council of the City of Norwich held on June 6th, 2022 the following ordinances were duly adopted CITY OF NORWICHNOTICE OF PASSAGE OF ORDINANCES Notice is hereby given that at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Norwich held June 6, 2022 the following ordinances was duly adopted: Ordinance Number 1814 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ABATEMENT OF REAL ESTATE TAXES ON REAL PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE HISTORIC REDEVELOPMENT AND REUSE OF THE HALE MILL PURSUANT TO CONNECTICUT GENERAL STATUTE ยง 12-127a Ordinance Number 1815 AN Ordinance amending Section 9-28 of the Norwich code of ordinances BY amending the annual fee to be charged for each truck used by commercial haulers for the disposition of solid waste and any other materials Collected in Norwich AND DISPOSED OF at facilities operated by the southeastern Connecticut regional resource Recovery authority Copies of said Ordinance is on file open to public inspection at the office of the City and Town Clerk.
