Newtown Police Investigating Damage Outside Fire Substation

NEWTOWN, CT — Police are seeking the public's assistance in their investigation of damage caused outside the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue substation last week. Police are reporting that a vehicle veered off the road and onto the substation property, knocking over a tree and resulting in damage to the lawn. The incident occurred between May 31, and June 3. The substation is located on the corner of Nighthawk Lane and Berkshire Road. Police are urging anyone with more information to contact Officer Steven Borges at 203-426-5841.
