NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help to identify and locate a man who broke a North Amityville gas station window earlier this week. According to police, a man approached the teller window at Valero, located at 940 Main Street, on Monday at about 12 a.m. The man then took a trash can lid and shattered the window before driving away in a pickup truck, police said. There were no injuries reported. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
