HAMDEN, CT — A free country rock concert featuring Wendy May will close out Hamden Fest at Town Center Park on Saturday, June 11. The headline concert will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. "Wendy and her band regularly perform at some of the largest agricultural fairs and venues in the Tri-State area and have opened for major artists such as Charlie Daniels and Kenny Chesney," a news release states. "She has also performed with Marty Haggard and has even been backing vocals for Willie Nelson and more." Listen to her and her band here. The rain date is Sunday, June 12.
