Description

Assist SCDNR SCORE Staff in restoring Spartina marsh grass in areas with significant die off and/ or erosion. Due to the site location and extra soft pluff mud, volunteers must be able to walk on uneven surfaces, withstand working outside and must be 16 years and older (high schoolers must be accompanied by an adult). What to wear/bring: -Closed-toe shoes (no crocs or flip flops! Boots or old sneakers recommended) -Clothes that can get dirty & wet -Reusable water bottle -Change of clothes, shoes, and towel for afterwards Parking: Please park outside of the gate along the street.
