SEATTLE — Seattle firefighters rescued a worker Thursday morning after scaffolding on a Belltown building collapsed. The Seattle Fire Department confirmed a rope rescue response on the 2200 block of 2nd Avenue just a few minutes after 11 a.m.
Less than 15 minutes later, Seattle Fire said first responders located one man hanging from the collapsed scaffolding, and rescue crews were able to reach him and pull him safely back into the building. Officials said the man suffered minor injuries and did not require a trip to the hospital.
