After a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Fairwood Community Park Performance Series and Music Festival is back – with live and in-person performances. This year's performances – with R&B, soul, jazz, pop, funk music and Shakespeare – will be a revival of the celebration of culture and community. They will feature outstanding performances from musicians, actors, and groups from Prince George's County and beyond. The 2022 lineup includes: Sunday, June 12, 4-6 pm Sunday, July 10, 3 pm Shakespeare in the Parks presents MacBeth. This version is inspired by the novel-turned-movie Gangs of New York.
