Here are some ways to stay safe as the summer temperatures heat up and places to go to cool down.
If you are looking for a place to cool off, the following City facilities have operational hours as listed:
Downtown Library - 225 Taylor Street Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Thursday through Friday 10 a.m.-5p.m. Saturday from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Closed Sunday
Vernon Street Town Square Spray Ground - 311 Vernon Street Open daily 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Crabb Park splash pad - 1000 Scarborough Drive Open daily 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Mike Shellito Indoor Pool - 10210 Fairway Drive Recreation Swim Saturday and Sunday from 1–4 p.m. ($5 per person for 2 years and up)
Roseville Aquatics Complex - 3051 Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard Recreational Swim by reservation only. Visit the aquatics webpage for more info at roseville.ca.us/aquatics
Johnson Pool - 100 D Street Opens Saturday, June 11 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday for Recreational Swim 7:15-8:45 p.m. on Wednesday/Friday for Family Night Recreational Swim admission for ages 2+: $2. Under 2 are free with an adult admission Family Night is free
Maidu Library - 1530 Maidu Drive Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Thursday through Friday 10 a.m.-5p.m. Saturday from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Closed Sunday
Martha Riley Community Library - 1501 Pleasant Grove Boulevard Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Thursday through Friday 10 a.m.-5p.m. Saturday from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Closed Sunday
Utility Exploration Center - 1501 Pleasant Grove Boulevard Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday
