Looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team on our farm in Greene, RI. We’re able to train you in a wide variety of skills to help us both maintain and improve the fields, barns, and animals around. Responsibilities will include: Ability to show up on time (7:30-4 daily M-F) with reliable transportation Ability to work both independently and cooperatively to achieve tasks Ability to follow written/verbal directions, make smart and logical decisions Landscaping- cutting grass, weed whacking, brush mowing and burning, as well as regular maintenance of used equipment. Minor renovations to barns/fence panels- use of basic hand and power tools to cut and install material Painting - spray, brush, roll, stain Snow removal- shoveling, blowing, plowing Occasionally assist with care of animals (horses, pigs, cows, sheep, dogs)- feeding, corralling, mucking of living areas Looking to hire someone preferably year-round, but seasonally for the right individual(s). Please note that nearly all of the work will be outside, however on exceptionally bad weather days we do have projects that take place indoor/undercover.
