Here are the top three stories today in Franklin: The man recovered from Percy Priest Lake by boaters has been identified as Franklin's Mauro Orduna, 38. He was last seen by his friends jumping off a cliff while celebrating Memorial Day weekend. Orduna was reportedly drinking alcohol at the time and did not return to the surface after jumping from the 40 to 50-foot cliff. (Williamson Source)The Franklin Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect accused of stealing construction materials. The incident occurred at a Lewisburg Pike development. Anyone with information is being advised to contact Crime Stoppers with an anonymous tip. The decision was made during a 90-minute meeting on the second day of a two-day conversation. The decision was needed after a candidate for Williamson County Commission District 7 and a candidate for Williamson County School Board challenged the outcome of their campaigns.
