Hello to everyone from the community and surrounding areas! We at Harle Counseling & Associates are throwing a Pride Celebration on June 30th, 2022 at The Palace in the Proper Brewing Company in Quakertown! Everyone is welcome -- LGBTQIA+ identifying, families, children, anyone! We are so excited to be celebrating YOU! At this event, we will be holding raffles, silent auctions, clothing exchange (bring your own on hangers, take what you need), face painting, hair styling, makeup artistry, an open mic hour (20 minutes for children, 20 minutes for adolescents, 20 minutes for adults) to share whatever they feel -- whether it's about your experience as queer-identifying, poetry, anything you want! There will be signups and this will be on a first come, first serve basis. There will be therapists who have volunteered to de-escalate if anyone is feeling triggered, which will provide some grounding techniques and some breathing exercises. There will also be some local organizations with resources and support attending this event -- we are so excited to be collaborating with SAGA, located in Hatboro! All money donated, made from raffles & silent auctions will be put into a fund to sponsor LGBTQIA+ identifying folks within the community with services, HRT, top surgery, etc. All are welcome, supported, and loved! We will not tolerate homophobia, transphobia, any hatred/discrimination whatsoever. If anyone has anything they'd like to donate to a silent auction or raffle basket, please message us and we will get back to you as soon as we can! This is a safe space for all of us to celebrate the queer community -- please come join us! We hope to see you all there!
