LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Park District will present its Freedom Days 2022 events from June 26 to July 3. The events include a kite fly, tribute to the veterans, and culminates in the Independence Day Extravaganza and fireworks show on July 3. You can find the Freedom Days 2022 schedule below: June 26 - All-American Swim, a free pool party at Centennial Pool from 12 to 5 p.m.June 27 - Kite Fly, a free event at Centennial Park from 6 to 8 p.m. Bring your own kites to fly. June 28 - Movie in the Park, "Sing 2" at 7 p.m. at Northview Park. June 30 - Tribute to Our Veterans, 6 p.m. at Legion Park, 111 Main St. Featuring brats and beer. Free for active and retired military, all participants must register in advance. July 1 - Free to Be Fit Friday, an open house event at The CORE all day.July 3 - Independence Day Extravaganza, kicking off at 4 p.m. at Centennial Park. Featuring DJ, food vendors, beer booth, kid's zone, kid's entertainment and ending in a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
