Press release from the Mecklenburg County Government: 6/9/2022 Description1 The new Northern Regional Recreation Center, located at 18121 Old Statesville Road, Cornelius, NC 28031, opens Friday, June 24. The grand opening celebration begins at 10 a.m. with a public ribbon cutting. Full opening and operations follow the ceremony. Mecklenburg County officials recently toured the facility for a preview of the state-of-the art amenities and innovative services that are available at an affordable rate for patrons. An exclusive early opening for MeckPass Members is on June 13. Hours for MeckPass members are:  Monday – Friday - 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday - 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Sign up for a MeckPass membership.
