Do you need a banjo player?

Description

Looking to add a banjo to your Folk, Americana, Bluegrass format? I'm a fairly seasoned "Scruggs" style banjo player. Was in a bluegrass band for a few years. Got tired of not gigging. I can dial it back to compliment more folk-y or Americana styles. I also can more than hold my own on the guitar. Strong finger-picking on the guitar. Can handle structured lead solos. (That is, I can do them, but I'm not so good at improvising.) Also can play a decent harp. Not Jonathan Edwards good, or Magic Dick good. More like Niel Young or Bob Dylan good. Also can lead vocals, and good natural harmony abilities. I have a lot to contribute, if it's the right style music. Very good at arrangement. I know how to get a lot of entertainment out of whatever I have to work with. No drugs/drinking problems. I love performing. Not feeling so motivated in my current gig (after almost 9 years). Would like to stay in the central Mass area unless the pay justifies the extra travel. If you think you'd like to talk to me, please send an email. Thanks, Pete
