TOMORROW: Need Crew to De-Install Flower Memorial on National Mall

Jobs

Washington DC

Description

We are hiring a labor crew of reliable, puncutal people to help de-install a large installation of memorial vases and flowers for a very good cause on the northeast grounds of the Washington Monument this Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m., June 11th. The shift begins at 3 p.m. sharp. The job requires removing flowers and vases from the grass so this is for someone who loves the outdoors, physical jobs, and following directions well to achieve a great result (see the attached picture of one of our previous events) Please do not apply for this job if the physical part of it does not fit well with your abilities - and if you are unable to show up on time due to transit issues, please also do not apply. The job pays $20/hour plus a $10 bonus for showing up on time - street parking is free in most areas in DC on Sunday, but transit is less reliable, so the $10 bonus is to help pay for gas or whatever you need to do to be on time. The gig is guaranteed a 2 hour minimum for everyone - so everyone will make at least $50 - and possibly more, which we'll pro-rate at $20/hour thereafter. So if we go 2 hours and 45 minutes, you'll make $10+$40+$15 overtime for a total of $65. You will be paid at the end of your shift via a payment app - you MUST have Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or Cash App to work this gig - no exceptions. TO APPLY: send us an email with one sentence about why you'd be a good fit for the job and anything else you want to include to have your email stand out from the others, so that we'd pick you (we have received a ton of replies for projects like these in the past at this pay level) If you happen to have a resume or description of prior work similar to this, feel free to attach it, but if you do not have a resume, it would be great to have at least one sentence about your prior work history.
