Hello my name is Alicia 29 yr. Old female and I am a certified home health aide from New Jersey and a jack of all trades I will do ANY and Everything for any type of help, I moved here 3 months ago with the hopes of a 3 bedroom house for rent, 2 days prior to signing the lease and moving in the realtor informed me that there was a cash offer on the house and the owner was no longer looking to rent, at last minute that left me homeless, I have looked into the Homeless Coalition they are not taking anyone because they are overwhelmed, I have tried affordable housing but each place has a different waiting list from 1 to 12 years, I have tried mobile homes and any type of housing but the 2-3 times the income of rent being a rule doesn't help me. I have exhausted my income tax which was for housing and vehicle on going from motel to motel to keep a roof over the kids heads, Currently for 1 month and 1/2 I have been at the Tarpon Inn. June 9th there was a fire early morning and because I have no where to go we are now going on day 2 No Electricity. No light, No hot water, No microwave for simple meals, No A/C. For some this might just be a night to stay,"but it's home for alot of us, Kids don't deserve this mishap. ANYTHING HELPS food, diapers, wipes, water, any type of housing or room in exchange for work so I can get back on my feet and see my kids smile again through all this pain, At this point I am desperate.
