Fort Collins Furniture & Mattress (a.k.a Hello! Furniture Co.) is hiring for several positions. We are a local Fort Collins family run business that focuses on luxury mattresses, quality furniture and home accessories at extremely affordable prices. We have been in business since 2005, and spent the last eight years in the old Chuck-E-Cheese building at College & Prospect. We are now building out a new, bigger space near the Foothills mall to support our loyal customer base. We try to keep the work atmosphere fun & light - and attempt (as best we can) to enjoy the time we spend at work. SALES / CUSTOMER SERVICE: This person is amazing at connecting with people, understanding customers needs and have a genuine interest in helping customers get what they want. We do NOT want "sell ice to Eskimos" brow-beating, pushy salespeople. At Hello! Furniture we believe in providing our customers with knowledge to make an educated, informed decision. We want our customers to brag about our people (and prices) to their friends, families and beyond. You will be expected to know all products throughly, be able to discern what our customers want - and be able to sell the product(s) that best fit their needs. WAREHOUSE: This person must be able to work efficiently and effectively without constant supervision. You should have fantastic organizational skills, work ethic and desire to work in a drama free environment. This position requires a multitude of skills and talents. You will be responsible for unloading merchandise from 53' semi-trucks (often with items weighing 100+ pounds), you will be loading customer vehicles in a safe manner. This position requires constant assembly of showroom items (dressers, sofa's, desks, etc.) that must be done efficiently. Once trained and acclimated, you should have the willingness, and ability, to see what needs to be done - and do what needs to be done, before being asked to do it. Having your own basic tools (screw gun, socket set, etc...) is a bonus - but not required. ADMINISTRATIVE: Talented multitasker. You need to be know a little bit of everything. You will be responsible for taking customer orders, placing purchase orders, maintaining proper inventory levels, processing online orders, helping in a sales role when needed. You must like dealing with a wide variety of people (customers, reps, suppliers) via phone, email, text & online chat. You are someone who can smile while working under pressure. Bonus points for marketing/advertising/SEO skills and social media experience. We greatly prefer experienced help, but will train the perfect person with the right attitude. Looking to hire ASAP.
