Under the direction of the Shipping Manager, this position is responsible for processing and packaging all orders with accuracy and thoroughness while meeting ORACLE lighting shipping standards. WHO YOU ARE · An Independent Worker – You possess the ability to take a directive and pick and package product from start to finish with little or no supervision. You know when deadlines are set and deliver on time, error free. · A Team Player – You are available to support the team by actively listening to coworkers, respecting ideas and improving the process at hand. End result will be helping the team meet deadlines with few errors. · An Experienced Individual – You have experience working in a warehouse environment and understand how the picking and packing process works. · An Individual with Attention to detail – You have the ability to read directions or picking tickets and catch any errors prior to packing or shipping the product. You are knowledgeable about ORACLE Lighting product and confident when shipping the completed ticket. WHAT YOU’LL DO · Carry out task assigned by the Shipping Manager and or Warehouse Manager. · Consistently deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. · Inspect items before packaging them to ship. · Ability to use a hand held RF scanner. · Ability to follow instruction and manage time effectively. · Keep work area clean and organized. · Constant ability to read, record date quickly and accurately. · Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds. · Must be adaptable, comfortable to work under pressure and flexible with priority changes based on business needs. · Must be able to work in a Warehouse environment. · Ability to climb stairs and stand for an extended period of time. · Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be high. REQUIREMENTS · Experience in a shipping / warehouse environment. · Must be available Monday – Friday and Saturday as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Benefits : Medical, Dental and Vision after 60 days. Paid Holidays and PTO after 6 months.
