Steel Fabricator is seeking Lead Yardman to oversee and execute daily responsibilities related to yard organization, material inventory and shipping accuracy. **This position has the potential for advancement into a foreman position** Duties will include but are not limited to: 1. Unloading, inventorying, labeling and storing incoming steel material 2. Loading trucks and ensuring load accuracy 3. Yard organization and cleanliness 4. Help or fill in, in other duties 5. Any duties deemed necessary by management Qualified applicants must have: 1. Reach forklift experience 2. Strong work ethic and organizational skills 3. Ability to lift and move up to 100lbs 4. Ability to work flexible shifts including overtime and Saturdays as needed 5. Pass a drug test and physical (NO EXCEPTIONS) 6. Good attitude with attention to safety and ability to problem solve 7. CDL class A license is a PLUS+++ 8. Computer skills is a PLUS+++ (or ability to be taught) 9. Ability to work in heat, cold and inclement weather Compensation to start will depend on experience.
