Senior dog needs retirement home

Senior short haired chocolate retriever needs retirement home. This is a large breed dog who still appreciates exercise. He has become unhappy with our growing family and we would love for him to spend the rest of his years as the only pet in the home, with no young children. He is on some medication for arthritis, a six month supply will go with him. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. We love him dearly, but it's become apparent he would be happier in a home where he can be a part of the family without worry. Please contact me for more information. We are in no hurry to place him. But if he can make someone happy and thrive somewhere else, then it is worth trying.
