Our resident nut job pedocrat who absolutely hates facts was actually right about the Jan 6 hearing (a.k.a. TDS on public display). It did indeed show us who the real communists and fascists are. Only in communist and fascist regimes do you see the media being controlled by and used as a tool for the promotion of propaganda by a political party. This one sided clown show was meant for nothing more than influencing potential jurors in upcoming trials by actual courts designed to unconstitutionally imprison political rivals just like you see in communist and fascist countries. This is not supposed to happen in America. In America, the prosecution presents its case and then the defense gets the opportunity to present its defense against the charges. The assumption is that the defendants are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. We are not supposed to have a media colluding with a political party to try defendants in the court of public opinion prior to an actual trial. The equal-time rule specifies that American radio and television broadcast stations must provide an equivalent opportunity to any opposing political candidates who request it. The equal-time rule was created due to concerns that broadcast stations could easily manipulate the outcome of elections by presenting just one point of view and excluding other candidates. Dr. Mehmet Oz declared his candidacy on November 30, 2021 for the Republican U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania, thus forcing television stations in Pennsylvania and surrounding states to drop his daily syndicated talk show from their schedule as part of the equal-time rule, and forcing Sony Pictures Television to line up alternate programming. Continued carriage of an entertainer's programming would have placed those stations in the position of offering the same hour of time to the other competitors in a political race daily, no matter the party. Are all of the major networks going to offer the same amount of time to the political opponents of the members of the commission (Liz Cheney is facing Harriet Hageman and losing bigly so Hageman can legally request equal air time). But yes, our resident nut job pedocrat has been proven correct by this commission and its illegal and unconstitutional actions. We have now seen who the true communists and fascists are.
