We're Hiring! We are primarily knife makers producing high end custom knives in extremely high demand. We produce them in two machine shops located on 20 acres of land in Idaho City along with a mobile home park, where most of our employees also live. The knife business has really exploded over the last few years, and we're looking to welcome the newest member onto the team. Aplicants must be willing to relocate to Idaho City, and preferably live on site, adjacent to the workplace. This position would strt off with multiple roles including, but not limited to light assembly, finish work, CNC part changer for the knife shop, and sand blasting. We are a small, family owned business that really beleives in personal freedom, as well as incentivizing and rewarding employees. Starting wage is $15-$18 an hourdepending on experience and skillset, and there is ample opportunity for growth. Once we have a good idea of what your skillset is, you'd most likely have a more permanent position according to your strengths. Increase in wages can happen quickly. While prior experience is appreciated, we care more about the willingness to learn and the excitement to do something most people don't get the opportunity to do; live in the mountains, and work in a relaxed yet driven environment with some really cool people, making some of the most sought-out knives in the industry.
