Found beautiful male Red Heeler running loose in our neighborhood around April 23rd. Reported to Joplin Humane Society and posted repeatedly on FB. Humane Society allowed us to keep him in our home (all our pets are indoor animals and our yard is fenced) in case he's breed stock. Full male, no chip. Was lame in one paw when he showed up, but he's fine now. Between 1-2 years old, judging from his teeth. Very sweet. Typical Heeler behaviors- nipping, carrying our cats by the scruff of the neck, getting into anything and everything that isn't nailed down, LOL! Friendly to other dogs unless they offer hostility, and then it's on. No hostility to humans, although not comfortable around babies. We already have two dogs and two cats, but I'll keep him if I don't find his owner or a good home.
